Barn Star Candle Company's soy candles are manufactured in Marilyn Hunter’s home and conversion of a 1790's barn, hence the name, Barn Star Candle. She pours container candles and makes pillar candles, reed diffusers, and tarts.

Why Soy Wax?

These candles are made with 100% soy wax and zinc-free braided cotton wicks. The candles are made with fragrance oil, but can be ordered unscented upon request. Marilyn also makes "Barn Star Essentials" made with all natural "essential oil" varieties. Other reasons that soy wax is better are ; they are made from soy beans that are farmed in the USA-supporting US Agriculture and a renewable resource, they burn evenly and longer than other waxes, they burn cleaner than paraffin and emit far less soot, and people who suffer from asthma and can not burn paraffin candles are usually able to burn soy.
