Shannon Belt, a local educator, was in need of a Christmas Present for his father and so decided to make him a chair out of skis. What started as a gift has turned into a small side business.  Every product has been inspired by his passion for skiing and love of the winter.  Chairs were the start, and other product ideas like tables, benches, wine holders, and business card holders, have evolved from customer and family ideas.  Shannon has many skis to choose from having gathered skis from friends, family, ski shops and ski resorts.  All the skis in his products have been used before and are saved from your local landfill or cluttered garage.  His favorite items to make are those who give him skis to make a piece of custom furniture.  The skis have many memories and make the chairs conversation pieces as well functional furniture.  You can see the passion and love that others have for the sport as well as time spent with their families.  This is incorporated into every piece of furniture.
