Wood Wizard

These cherry wood bookmarks are created by Alan Bradstreet, the “Wood Wizard”. A frugal Yankee upbringing inspired Alan to create these bookmarks from the recycled waste of larger cabinet makers. The cherry wood is sliced into thin strips and then the profile is cut on a scroll saw with a very fine blade. The pieces are sanded and given an oil finish to accent the grain and rich color of the wood.
