Kevin White photographs what interests him visually. He responds to the subject on a purely intuitive, visual and spiritual level when making a photograph. Thus, it becomes a form of quiet meditation for him, with the camera compelling him to slow down and to focus on only the present moment in time. His images are from places and things that called to him, asked him to stop, look more closely and to spend more time. His hope is that the viewer may have a similar connection to the photographic representation of time and space that initiated the taking of the photograph in the first place. Kevin resides in Hope, Maine with his wife Pam Collins.
