The Chrysanthemum Dish is a ceramic grater named for the pattern formed by its cutters. It is ideal for zesting or grating ginger root, garlic, parmesan cheese, and nutmeg, etc. Ginger root and garlic fibers will not get caught in the cutters as in metal graters so clean up is a cinch. The added bonus is all your juices remain in the dish unlike a metal grater. A little liquid from your recipe poured in the grater will lift the contents giving you the full benefit of your grating or zesting.
