Madder Root towels made of 100% organic linen was created by Janyce and Christina. Janyce with a background in fabric arts and business and Christina having worked within both commercial and fine art printing, Madder Root became a labor of love. They cut, print and sew everything by hand in small batches using hand drawn designs and custom mixed colors. They are inspired by Maine’s ocean, forest and mountain vistas and strive to protect the environment around them with every choice they make.
