Since 1986, Unity Pond Pottery's original Maine Made folk art pottery has been using techniques such as wheel throwing, slip casting, pressing and handbuilding. Wendy and Espo use a stoneware clay body which is fired to 2,300 degress F  Each piece is individually created and signed by the self-taught potters in their Unity working studio.  No two exactly alike!  Many pieces are hand-carved.  All glazes are lead free and all pots are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.
